Instruction manual: Online application for refund of fees

From now on you can apply online for refund of you semester fees via MeinCampus.

The previous process via paper application is eliminated without replacement.

1. Step - Request Refund of fees

Please use the following path Service → Requests → Refund of fees
or the icon Leave of absence.


You choose refund of fees and get this input mask. Please choose „Create new request“



In the next step, fill in mandatory fields with the associated data such as IBAN, period and account holder, etc. If the refund is to be made to a non-German bank account, please also enter the BIC and SWIFT data. If you feel the need to submit additional documents, please upload them using the upload function. Then submit the application. From this step on, the Department of Studies will take over the further processing of the refund in cooperation with the Department of Finance. After about 5-8 business days, you will receive the refund to the IBAN provided.
