If you have already signed up for events this semester (enrolled for compulsory elective/general elective modules or registered for examinations), these will automatically appear in your Schedule. If not, your Schedule will initially be empty. You must click within the “Detail view” of an event to add it to your Schedule.

You can open the Detail view of an event via either Course plan or Planner of studies.

General information about Schedules:

  • Click on the name of an event to display the Detail view of the course or examination in question.
  • You can delete earmarked events directly in the Schedule.
  • Click on to generate a PDF of the events that you have enrolled for or earmarked (“vorgemerkt”).
  • Any changes to events are flagged up with a warning triangle .
  • Cancellations are indicated with the message Cancelled date .
  • Use to configure the Schedule as you wish. For example, you can choose to only display your own parallel group.
    • Note: You can find out which parallel group you are in from your faculty. Some of this information will only be announced after the semester has started.

Planning your Schedule via Course plan

My Studies > Course plan

General information about the Course plan

  • Course plan shows the courses and examinations for your degree programme that are taking place during the selected period.
  • Cancelled dates, which you can see in your Schedule, are not visible in the Calendar view. Cancelled events are not displayed. This is why you should compile your own personal Schedule!
  • There are various display options for configuring your Schedule as you wish, which modifies the amount of information on view.
    • Set semester
    • Add course
    • General display options (lecture period view, term view, week choice…)
  • Click on to generate a PDF of the events for your degree programme.
  • Use to configure the Course plan as you wish. For example, you can choose to only display your own parallel group.
    • Note: You can find out which parallel group you are in from your faculty. Some of this information will only be announced after the semester has started.


  • In the detailed view you have the possibility for each parallel group to earmark the respective parallel group of the event in the timetable.

Planning your Schedule via Planner of studies

My Studies > Planner of studies with Module plan

  • The Planner of studies provides an overview of the examination regulations relevant to the semester in question. It shows all the examinations and courses during your current semester.
  • You can create your own personal Schedule using the Planner of studies. Open the Detail view for an event and earmark it for your Schedule.
  • Choose your parallel group in the Detail view. You can find out which parallel group you are in from your faculty. Some of this information will only be announced after the semester has started.
  • Earmarking a course will add the entire series of events, so you don’t need to click on each individual session.
  • At least one parallel group (G0 all) is allocated for each course.

Please note: All the events that you earmark during this process are for your own planning purposes only. As a rule, you need to complete the official enrolment process to sign up for all compulsory elective subjects and majors.

Earmark general elective modules in your Schedule

General elective modules do not appear in the Course plan. If you wish to earmark general elective modules in your Schedule, you need to open the Detail view via the Planner of studies or the University Course Catalogue.

  • In the Planner of studies, expand the General Elective subjects (AAWPF account – General elective compulsory elective subjects)


  • Find the event that you wish to earmark and click on Detail view – List of parallel groups / dates & times. This is where you can earmark the event in your own personal Schedule.


Studies offered > Show university course catalogue

  • You can also open the Detail view of a General Elective course and earmark it via the university course catalogue:

To display today’s events (changes/cancellations)

There is a new function that you can use to check if any events have been changed/cancelled.

Detail view – changes and cancellations

The Detail view of an event shows you all the available information.

  • Parallel groups / dates & times: Once the dates and times are known, these will be displayed in the table for each of the parallel groups.
    • Click on Showing single dates for a list of the dates and times for a particular parallel group. In this view, changes to individual events are indicated as follows:
      • Cancellations are highlighted in all columns, crossed out and marked with the icon “Cancelled”.
      • Room changes are highlighted, marked with a warning triangle , and hovering with the mouse displays the original room.
      • If an auxiliary lecturer will be conducting a specific session, their name will be entered in the appropriate column.
      • If there is a change to the time of an event, the new time will be highlighted in the “From - To” column, marked with a warning triangle , and hovering with the mouse displays the original time.
      • If there is a change of date, this will be highlighted in the columns Weekday and Date, marked with warning triangles , and hovering with the mouse will show the original weekday and date.
